I will always be there for you!
If there is anything I can do for you, you only have to say;
When ever your in need of help, I will help in any way.
 You can count on me to be there at the end of the day!

 I will never forget how you helped me out, for that i owe you a gratitude i will one day repay!
 You only have to say the word and i will do what i can, i mean what i say!

Then come the bad times, the turmoil and dismay;

Time to put into action the promises they say;

Then the pledge to be there for you
Night and day, clarifies to ordinarily i would but i just cant help today.

Ive got my own problems and bills to pay.
I wish i could help but not today!

Not wanting to tell you directly to go away, you sense the intention as politely they make excuses of why they cannot stay with a half hearted wish that it will all be ok and hope you find another way.

Lets meet up soon they say,
Vague and non comittal to arrange a day;
You turn to watch as they scurry away,
Knowing they will keep you at bay until the dark clouds and rainy days pass away;

Only will they return when the sun shines again; to baske in the rays and warmth of your bright sunny days!
